Blueprint Reading Masterclass

Shop brief

Six rules before anyone touches a live set.

1. Title block first

Project, sheet, REV, and scale — every time you open a sheet.

2. Never tap the schedule

Schedules list requirements; answers live on the PLAN tags.

3. Don't measure N.T.S.

Not To Scale means do not take dimensions from that view.

4. Latest revision only

Old REV stamps and dates are traps — build from the current issue.

5. Grid is letter–number

Columns sit at intersections (e.g. C-3), not near-misses.

6. Conflict = stop

Plan vs schedule disagreement is an RFI, not a guess.
