One subscription API key — subscribe, check entitlement, and cancel on this page. Activation is confirmed by Stripe's webhook, never by the browser redirect alone.
Up to 25 saved development projects per key, evaluated on demand against verified Metro Vancouver regional DCC rules.
On-demand fee-change feed — reviewed regulatory change events with official government source URLs and last-verified dates. You poll the API; there are no push notifications. Every event is labeled by origin in the API: built-in reviewed events are drawn from the published historical record, and events labeled reviewed monitor detection were detected by source monitoring and passed human review before publication.
Monitoring of supported official sources — 34 registered sources are fingerprinted in rotation (a full cycle takes roughly 17 hours). As of October 20, 2026, 27 sources have a successful latest check, 6 are currently failing, and 1 is awaiting its first check; excluding Toronto's research-only sources, 21 of the 28 commercially covered sources are healthy. A failed check is never treated as a change.
Assessments with explicit uncertainty — VERIFIED / CONDITIONAL / UNRESOLVED determinations, with unresolved questions flagged rather than decided for you.
Source-linked evidence — every figure traces to the municipality's own published schedule.
Actual limitations — please read
Coverage: Metro Vancouver regional development cost charges (GVWD water, GVS&DD liquid waste, MVRD parkland) for member municipalities. Not Canada-wide. Not complete project fee totals. Toronto sources are monitored for research only and are not part of this subscription.
Enabled for subscribers: Billing, key issuance, entitlement checks, and cancellation are live. Saved-project and fee-change endpoints are enabled in Production for entitled subscribers; without an entitled key they return 401/403.
Human review: Detected source changes are manually reviewed before being treated as verified. This is editorial verification of published sources — not professional regulatory or legal interpretation, and not a determination of what an amendment means for your specific project (that remains your professional adviser's role). Review is manual, not instantaneous, and carries no guaranteed turnaround or SLA.
Notifications: None. There is no email, SMS, or push notification. Evaluations and the alert feed are available on demand through the API when you request them.
Definitive reassessments: Not included yet. For subscription keys, definitive reassessment requests currently return HTTP 402.
Not monitored: Proposed fee increases, draft amendments, rezoning, land-use changes, and council agendas are not detected. Monitoring covers supported published fee sources only.
